As any response to a complex humanitarian emergency is multi-disciplinary, we welcome participants with many different skills and interests united by the humanitarian objective of preventing or alleviating human suffering.

All participants understand that these events are very physically, intellectually, and emotionally demanding. All training is conducted under austere conditions. Food may be less than ideal, accommodations uncomfortable, and some among the local population could be hostile. All participants are guests of Indian River State College and must abide by all college regulations at all times.
