The Atlantic Hope Field Training Exercise (FTX) is an immersive, simulation-based training event spanning three and a half days. Participants will take on the role of humanitarian responders providing support and conducting a needs assessment following a major natural disaster in the recently post-conflict nation of Atlantica. Participants will learn to operate under stress in austere environments, how to operationalize international humanitarian law (IHL), and how to negotiate access to provide disaster relief in international settings.
