New York Hope (NYHope) is a simulation-based disaster response training focused on local and multi-county emergency management and disaster response skills. NYHope is hosted at the New York State Preparedness and Training Center in upstate New York every summer. The exercise provides an immersive experience where participants can learn and practice everything from working in an Emergency Operations Center to performing search and rescue operations in rural and urban environments.
